The next World Expo will be held in Shanghai from 1 May to 31 October 2010. You can now find comprehensive information about the Belgian Pavilion there on the following website: www.shanghaiexpo2010.be.

The website explores the World Expo's theme, 'Better City, Better Life', and also provides more information about Belgium, with its location in the heart of Europe, and how the Belgian Pavilion presents the country's appealing cultural, social and economic features.
The idea on which the pavilion is based is the 'Brain Cell Concept'. Click 'The Pavilion' tab to learn more about this concept and the pavilion's design.

The World Expo site stretches out on both sides of the River Huangpu, between Nanpu Bridge and Lupu Bridge.
The Shanghai Expo will be the largest World Expo ever, with 220 participants and 70 million visitors expected.

The Belgian Pavilion is a federal government project, in close cooperation with the regional authorities and the generous support of Belgian companies, institutes and organisations.
