Token Help Page

A Token is a card with 24 codes printed on it.

The Token will be used to Authenticate you to confidential transactions. When accessing these transactions you will be prompted to enter a Token Code corresponding to a position on the Token. For example you might be asked to enter the 13th Token code. In this case as shown in the card above you would enter WAPERI in the Token Code Field. The Token Code is not case sensitive.

Two types of token exist:

  •
  • One for citizens giving access to citizens transactions
  •
  • One for civil servants giving access to citizens and civil servants transactions

Citizen Token should be requested by you online on the Federal Portal. It will then be sent by post mail to your official home address. If you lose your Token you can  request for a new one, however once you have done this, you must wait a minimum of 10 days before you can re-request for a Token to be sent. The old Token becomes invalid.

Civil Servant Token cannot be requested by yourself. It should be provided by the civil servant local administrator. If you have any issue with your civil servant token, please contact your local administrator.

To differentiate them, the type of token (citizen or civil servant) is written on the top-left of the tokens.
